LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 04: Jelly attends the 66th GRAMMY Awards at Crypto.com Arena on ... [+]
Jelly Roll is enjoying an amazing ride on the Billboard charts at the moment. Several songs from his last album have been holding on for months, but he’s not only relying on past wins. The singer-songwriter has recently doled out a handful of new cuts, including an exciting new solo single, which nearly conquered a few tallies this frame…but narrowly missed out on doing so.
The singer-songwriter’s “I Am Not Okay” reaches a new high of No. 2 on a pair of Billboard charts this week. Jelly’s new single jumps up several rankings this frame, settling in the runner-up rung on two of them.
This week, “I Am Not Okay” is up to No. 2 on both the Digital Song Sales and Country Digital Song Sales charts. In the past tracking period, Luminate reports that the single sold a little more than 14,500 copies. That’s up more than 33% from the frame prior.
On both of the aforementioned charts, “I Am Not Okay” is held back from ruling by the same song. Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is still running the show, as the rising talent’s smash has turned out to be a longstanding win, especially in the country field.
“I Am Not Okay” was released on Thursday, June 12. That’s the last day of the tracking week in the music industry, so the tune only had one day in which to rack up streams and sales that would impact where it debuted on the Billboard charts the following frame. After only a few hours of activity, the title performed well enough to reach a few lists, but after a complete seven days of availability, it’s now rocketing up the rankings.
Jelly’s latest single is climbing on more than just the two sales-focused rankings. “I Am Not Okay” leaps from No. 32 to No. 10 on the Hot Country Songs chart this frame, bringing the musician back to the highest tier.
At the same time, “I Am Not Okay” also debuts on several more charts. The cut opens at No. 18 on the Country Streaming Songs list, No. 37 on the all-genre Streaming Songs tally, and No. 30 on the Hot 100.
