Jonas Brothers Score Their First Hit On Two Billboard Rankings

Following

The Jonas Brothers are in between albums at the moment, but they’re not remaining quiet. The sibling trio spent last year promoting their aptly-titled full-length The Album and partnering with a number of other musical acts for one-off collaborations. The former teen heartthrobs are back on the charts this week with a new track, which brings them to rankings they’ve never reached before.

Kygo’s new self-titled album features a song with the Jonas Brothers titled “Healing (Shattered Heart),” which is a standout from the project. The tune has become a quick hit on a pair of Billboard rankings in the U.S., giving them a very special new win.

“Healing (Shattered Heart)” gives the Jonas Brothers their first hit on two of Billboard’s genre-specific charts. The cut debuts this week on both the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales tallies, as it was one of the most exciting new releases in those genres of the past tracking period.

Kygo and the Jonas Brothers earn the top debut on this week’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, which ranks the most-consumed tracks in the country classified by Billboard as either dance or electronic in terms of genre. Further down on the list, new tunes from the likes of Rufus Du Sol, Kaskade, and John Summit also enter the race. Returning favorites from DJ Snake, Peso Pluma, and even the Black Eyed Peas manage to find their way back.

Over on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart, “Healing (Shattered Heart)” is forced to settle for the second-loftiest new entry. Charli XCX and Lorde launch their collaboration “Girl, So Confusing” just one space higher, at No. 2. The list is ruled once again by Marshmello and Kane Brown’s cross-genre “Miles On It” smash.

While “Healing (Shattered Heart)” marks the first hit for the Jonas Brothers on both tallies, Kygo has reached them quite a few times in the past. On the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, the producer and DJ has now racked up 67 hits, including this latest smash.

His performance on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart is even more impressive, at least when it comes to hits that rise toward the highest reaches of the ranking. Kygo has now accrued 38 top 10s on the tally, and a total of 49 when looking at the full list, which now features just 15 spaces.
