Early Betting Odds For The UFC 304 Fight Card

Following

The next UFC pay-per-view card goes down on July 27 when UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards faces Belal Muhammad. That fight card, UFC 304, takes place at Co-op Live in Manchester, England. In the evening’s co-main event, interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall faces Curtis Blaydes.

Edwards and Muhammad first met in March 2021 in the main event of a UFC Fight Night card from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. That bout ended 18 seconds into the second round when an accidental eye poke left Muhammad unable to continue.

Since that contest, both men are unbeaten, with Edwards going 4-0. Edwards claimed the UFC welterweight title in August 2022 with a last-minute head-kick knockout of Kamaru Usman. He defeated Usman in a rematch by majority decision in March 2023 and picked up a second title defense when he bested Colby Covington by unanimous decision in December.

Muhammad is 5-0 since he first faced Edwards. He has picked up decision wins over Demian Maia, Stephen Thompson, and Vicente Luque and knocked out Sean Brady. Muhammad’s most recent victory was a May 2023 decision win over former welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns. Muhammad is the No. 2 ranked fighter in the official UFC welterweight rankings.

Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes have also met before. The two faced each other in the main event of a 2022 Fight Night card at the 02 Arena in London, England. Unfortunately, that fight ended 15 seconds after it began, with Aspinall suffering a TKO loss due to a leg injury.

Since then, Aspinall is 2-0 with two first-round knockout wins. In November, he stopped Sergei Pavlovich in 69 seconds to claim the interim UFC heavyweight title.

Blaydes, the No. 4 ranked UFC heavyweight, is 1-1 since he first faced Aspinall. He punched his ticket to the interim title shot with a March knockout win over Jailton Almeida. That stoppage came in the second stanza.
