Speaking at the Forbes Sustainability Leaders Summit in September, Wendy Cama seemed assured that auditors working as close advisors are well positioned to help companies succeed. Cama, after all, has witnessed constant change during her 33 years in the audit business, and auditors simply know how to roll with it.

“It's the continued education, the continued learning,” she told executives in New York City and those joining virtually. “It's staying up to date with regulations, with new standards that are coming out. It's staying connected to the standard-setters and the regulators and really making sure that we are on top of our game.”
