Tally Health CEO Melanie Goldey is trying to slow down the aging process. The wellness-focused health company uses a DNA test that measures your biological age, with a swab test that measures the epigenetic age of your cells.
From there, Tally Health designs a personalized action plan that include lifestyle changes, nutritional recommendations, and potentially its unique daily supplements, all of which are made from rare, high-end ingredients. In short, they help their wellness-savvy clientele live a more meaningful life.
“We are a longevity company for the broad consumer,” said Tally Health’s CEO, Melanie Goldey. “There is an incredible curiosity and sophistication to track and optimize our wellness.”
Beauty is a key part of wellness. “The definition of beauty has really changed,” said Goldey. “Before, it was about makeup. Now it’s about skincare and science-backed solutions. Beauty from the inside out. Wellness is being your best self.”
First founded in 2023 by longevity scientist Dr. David Sinclair with entrepreneur Whitney Casey, Tally Health has made headlines for being backed by celebrities like John Legend, Pedro Pascal, and Shonda Rhimes. They offer their clientele recommendations in diet, fitness, sleep, mental health, and wellness. “All things that affect your beauty and how you feel—it relates to how you age,” said Goldey. “Consumers are getting more comfortable with taking supplements, if it’s backed by research, to augment their beauty routines.”
On April 11, Tally Health released a supplement called Restore, which helps to improve sleep quality, while targeting aging. The supplement includes a Magnesium bisglycinate chelate complex (an alternative to melatonin), along with L-theanine, which promotes relaxation, and Apigenin, an extract of chamomile that is soothing.
“Better sleep translates into glowing skin, an inside out effect,” said Goldey. “We wanted something that creates a positive, calm mood. It alleviates anxiety.”
The supplement was created by their in-house science team who wanted to alleviate aging while using the most natural ingredients. “We leverage the latest science-backed compounds to create a supplement which is not only a stand-out in the sleep category, but also provides powerful improvements to longevity, as demonstrated by peer-reviewed Tally research,” said Goldey.
Longevity was a big buzzword in 2023, and we’re seeing wellness become more holistic and preventative with science-backed products. Beauty intellectuals often know what they need, but are open to a personalized path to guide them.
While many women have cabinets filled with supplements we don’t use, the key is to narrow down your anti-aging approach. Have a set plan in place.
“The future of beauty and longevity is women,” said Goldey. “I think that women are always rethinking and redefining what beauty is, and women are the chief medical officers of the home. They’re making health and wellness decisions for themselves and their families. Longevity is for everyone, but women are going to be driving the growth and acceleration of it.”
