Mopar didn’t divulge any details beyond the trio of sketches. Mopar

Mopar dropped a few clues about possible specialty Jeep and Ram vehicles this week.

The official aftermarket parts maker for Jeep and Ram teased concept sketches of an electric Jeep and Ram 1500 pickup trucks. The three images hint at what to expect from Mopar at the upcoming Specialty Equipment Market Association show (SEMA) in Las Vegas next month.

The Stellantis-owned Mopar said the sketches represent the customizable designs and accessories available through the “motor parts” giant.

We expect the Surge to highlight the makers upcoming electrified technologies as well as showcase parts and accessories aimed at the Wrangler 4xe and other emerging EV off-road vehicles. Mopar

First up is what appears to be a Jeep Wrangler 4xe dubbed the “Surge,” with the “e” electrified in blue at the end. Although a small detail, a subtle “EV” badge on the side of the orange Jeep is garnering attention about more electrified possibilities.

Ram recently announced the discontinuation of the 3.0-liter diesel V6 option, and we expect a variety of hybrid or possibly EV options to fill the void. Mopar

A TRX with a version of Dodge’s upcoming “Banshee” EV powertain or a super-high output version of Jeep’s new twin-turbo Hurricane inline six-cylinder is an enticing prospect. Mopar

The other two images show Ram trucks with accessories like a bed cover or camping gear on the 1500 pickup. The 702-horsepower 1500 TRX is shown in a colorful two-tone with highlighter yellow. We’re not sure what changes and modifications Ram has in store, but with the rush to hybrid and EV powertrains in the full-size truck market we wouldn’t be surprised if they showcase modified versions of upcoming production hardware.

Mopar will be at the accessories, parts and customized design show Nov. 1 through 4 with a 15,345 square-foot exhibit.
