Carbone Beach Will Drive The Scene Again During Miami F1 Week

Following

Carbone Beach, the supper club on the sand that dominates the scene during Formula One week in Miami, will be back for another year of extravagance May 2 to 5.

“I think at this point, Carbone Beach has almost become synonymous with F1 in Miami,” says Jeff Zalaznick, co-founder of Major Food Group. “You feel that it’s already becoming this kind of iconic thing that’s deeply connected to the weekend.”

Carbone Beach, presented by American Express in partnership with Major Food Group, is known for serving luxury items like giant toro-and-caviar hand rolls before guests sit down for chef Mario Carbone’s spicy rigatoni. This lavish Miami Beach pop-up, which debuted two years ago, has featured performances by Andrea Bocelli, Diana Ross, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Kygo (who had Travis Kelce in the DJ booth for a festive moment) and Nas, among others. The A-list guests at Carbone Beach have included David Beckham, Patrick Mahomes, Serena and Venus Williams, LeBron James, Hailee Steinfeld, Ken Griffin, Jeff Bezos and many more.

Seats for this year’s Carbone Beach, which start at $3,000 per person, are now available online. (All purchases must be made with an American Express card.) Entire tables can be booked for eight to 14 people.

This year, Carbone Beach is moving to a location that will allow for a grander entrance and a more seamless drop-off for VIPs. As always, Major Food Group’s goal is to exceed expectations and to make things more over-the-top than before. This is a four-night dinner party with an emphasis on party. Guests enjoy cocktails and chilled seafood before an elaborate dinner. Revelers get up and dance, in between bites of veal Parm or sips of espresso martinis, during surprise performances. The event goes from 7:30 p.m. to midnight every night.

“There will be new design features, new culinary offerings and other new things this year,” Zalaznick says. “We’re always trying to push the boundaries and take things to the next level and to be more exciting and more indulgent. It’s going to deliver at the highest level of quality, the highest level of luxury and the highest level of fun. We’re thrilled about our continued partnership with American Express, which has allowed us to create this one-of-a-kind experience.”

And, of course, Major Food Group will be setting the table for Formula One week all over Miami, as well. With hot spots like Carbone, Dirty French Steakhouse, ZZ’s Club and the new Chateau ZZ’s, the hospitality company has built a stronghold on and off the beach. Major Food Group will also run the invite-only Palm Club at the Miami International Autodrome during the big race.

But the centerpiece of Major Food Group’s programming that week will be its supper club on the sand.

“F1 in Miami has been truly one of the great events in America,” Zalaznick says. “I think Miami is a city that’s really made for an event like this. And I think Carbone Beach has been a standard of excellence and celebration during the weekend. It’s something that people look forward to and people aspire to go to.”
