Genesis G80 Overview

The Genesis G80, still in its first generation, offers buyers a choice of three different engines depending on the trim level. The base G80 is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that delivers 311 horsepower and 293 pound-feet of torque. A sportier 3.3-liter V6 delivers 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. The top of the line 5.0-liter V8 is rated at 420 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. The G80 is stuffed with user-friendly technology, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility across the board. All models also come with a hefty package of active driver assist technology that includes adaptive cruise control with lane centering, forward collision avoidance and blind-spot collision avoidance.

Trim Specifications

All-wheel-drive is available across the lineup for $2,500. The base 3.8L trim comes with leather seating and heated front seats, 18-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires and an eight-inch touchscreen with navigation. A Sport package is available for $5,400 that adds larger 19-inch wheels, exclusive front and rear bumpers, sport wheel and pedals, a surround view monitor, 14-speaker premium audio and wireless charging. The Ultimate package costs $9,950 and layers on Nappa leather seating, matte wood finish and aluminum trim, a 9.2-inch touchscreen, 17-speaker premium audio and color head-up display. The 3.3T Sport build on the 3.8L Ultimate and adds sport-tuned suspension, quad exhaust tips, alloy sport pedals and a carbon fiber-trimmed interior. No packages are available on the 3.3T Sport. The 5.0L Ultimate also has no additional available packages but comes fully-loaded with everything on the 3.8L Ultimate plus the larger engine, of course.
