Land Rover Range Rover Velar Overview
The Range Rover Velar comes in four trims: S, S R-Dynamic, HSE R-Dynamic and SVAutobiography Dynamic. The base S is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that delivers 247 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The R-Dynamic trims have a sportier look and the HSE version is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 380 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. The top SVAutobiography trim features a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 that makes 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. All are paired with an automatic eight speed transmission and come with standard four-wheel-drive. Rear passengers will be comfortable with 37.2 inches of legroom, but drivers who want to haul a lot of cargo might be disappointed with the 34.4 cubic-feet of storage, which falls mid-pack among compact SUV rivals.
