After enrolling, the benefit is applied automatically. Simply use your Platinum Card to pay for a qualifying service, and Amex will credit you for the cost. Amex states there can be a delay of six to eight weeks before the credit is applied, but typically it appears on the same statement as the charge.
Be sure to purchase your subscription directly from the service. If you purchase through a cable bundle or third party, you’re unlikely to receive the credit. Charges incurred by the main cardholder and any additional cardholders are eligible for the credit, but you’ll only receive $20 per month per account.
Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+
