Lexus RC F Overview

The stylish, rear-wheel-drive Lexus RC coupe is already fun to drive, especially with its optional 311-horsepower V6. The RC-F takes the fun factor to another level with its 472-horsepower V8, quick-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission, performance suspension, rear-wheel drive-only layout and wide high-performance tires. Revisions to the styling and powertrain make it look and drive better than ever before, including a new electronic launch control that makes it the quickest-accelerating of all current Lexus models. A notable addition to the lineup for 2020 is the range-topping Track Edition. Weighing in 176 pounds less than the standard RC-F thanks to the use of carbon fiber body panels, lightweight wheels and faux suede upholstery, it also gets carbon-ceramic brakes and an aero package developed with the help of Lexus race teams. The RC F Track Edition delivers a palpable performance edge but comes with a remarkably high, nearly six-figure price tag.

Trim Specifications

Standard RC-F features 472-horsepower V8, eight-speed automatic transmission, sport seats, and more. Notably, the $11,400 Performance package (that also requires ordering a $5,350 Premium package that includes leather interior and a heated steering wheel among other items) includes carbon fiber aero addenda, a carbon-fiber roof, and carbon-fiber interior trim, as well as heated seats, a rear center console and a trunk pass-through. The RC F Track Edition features a carbon fiber hood, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, a fixed rear carbon fiber wing, a titanium muffler and 19’-inch BBS wheels. Additional Track Edition features include a card key, in addition to two key fobs, faux suede interior trim, exclusive Matte Nebula Gray and Ultra White exterior colors.
