Buick Cascada Overview
The 2019 Buick Cascada is a lackluster-looking droptop powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, capable of producing 200 horsepower, paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. It’s both underpowered and outdated by comparison, and produces significant body roll when cornering, an unfortunate—and nauseating—trait no one will appreciate on a Sunday drive. Although the Cascada’s starting price is much lower than its premium rivals, it doesn’t particularly represent a good value in the category. This is the last model year that the Cascada will be available to U.S. consumers.
Trim Specifications
The 1SV entry trim is well-equipped with heated front leather seats and steering wheel, rear park-assist, auto on/off headlamps and a 7-inch touchscreen. Upgrading to the Premium adds driver-assist safety features like front and rear parking sensors, forward-collision alert and lane-departure warning. The Sport Touring adds mostly appearance bits such as a three-spoke wheel.
