How To Watch ‘Abbott Elementary’ Season Three

Season Three of “Abbott Elementary” brings back all the major cast members from Season Two for more adventures.

The first season of “Abbott Elementary” made its debut in 2021. It humorously explored the plight of an underfunded school in Philadelphia, its band of dedicated teachers and their unorthodox principal.

Season Two, which launched in 2022, found Abbott Elementary teetering toward becoming a charter school. It also took a closer look at the teachers’ lives and relationships.

At the outset of Season Three, Principal Ava Coleman seeks to school her faculty in the ways of elementary education. After attending Harvard University during the summer break, Coleman intends to rule the school in a strict manner to toughen up the “slacker” teachers.

Some of Abbott Elementary’s teachers are ready to revolt against Principal Coleman’s new edict, enlisting first-grade teacher Gregory to break down the principal’s newfound bravado. However, Gregory’s effort fails.

Meanwhile, having smooched at the end of Season Two, Gregory and second-grade teacher Janine are now trying to restore their platonic friendship. Janine swears she’s going to toughen up by introducing curse words into her vocabulary, but Gregory pours cold water on Jeanine’s new persona.

All three of the new characters are representatives from Philadelphia’s school district.
