Nissan GT-R Overview

The 2020 Nissan GT-R sports car is powered by a hand-built 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine harnessed to a dual-clutch six-speed automatic with paddle shifters that packs 565 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque. It’s six-figure starting price tag means its competing in an exotic segment. But the GT-R is more than a decade old and while Nissan updates much of the driving dynamics frequently, including this year, its interior materials and tech features are not current.

Trim Specifications

The GT-R is tricked out with a revised turbocharger tuning, 20-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels, new headlight inner color and an available “Hai Gray” premium interior with hand-stitched semi-aniline appointments. A Titanium exhaust system is standard along with active noise cancellation and active sound enhancement technologies. The 50th Anniversary trim is available in three two-tone exterior colors that pay tribute to the heritage of the GT-R for $8,500. The GT-R Track Edition changed significantly from 2019 because its new powerplant is lifted directly from the far more expensive GT-R NISMO and boasts 600 horses. The Track Edition also gets NISMO-tuned four-wheel independent suspension, NISMO forged alloy wheels and tires and a carbon-fiber rear spoiler. Inside, the Track Edition sports unique red and black colors with motorsports-inspired Recaro seats.
