American Express Member Week Returns: Olivia Rodrigo, Golfing With Pros And More Exclusive Experiences

One component of American Express Member Week is exclusive experiences in select cities. The lineup of events this year encompasses a wide range of interests, ranging from those who listen to Olivia Rodrigo’s new album on repeat, to families full of foodies.

Olivia Rodrigo Virtual Performance

For cardmembers and Member Week Pass holders across the world, American Express has a virtual event in store: Olivia Rodrigo performing songs from her new album “GUTS.”

From Tuesday, October 10 at 8:00pm EDT through the end of Thursday, October 12, cardmembers will get special access to a virtual performance on the artist’s YouTube channel. If you are waiting in excitement for her world tour beginning next year, this sneak-peek performance may be worth checking out.

Outstanding in the Field Dinners From Resy

Available to both cardmembers and Member Week Pass holders is a family-style dining experience powered by Resy, the restaurant reservation company.

The experience will include guests gathering around one large table to share a multi-course meal curated by local Resy restaurant chefs. The first dinner will be at the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden in Austin, TX on October 11 with Chef Fermin Nunez of Suerte & Este. The second will be at Washington D.C.’s Union Station on October 18, featuring Chefs Matt Conroy and Isabel Coss of Lutèce and Pascual.

Tickets can be purchased via Resy for $275 and space is limited. Tickets for the Austin event are currently available, and tickets for the Washington D.C. event go on sale October 10.

Topgolf With Professional Golfers

Also available to both cardmembers and Member Week Pass holders is the opportunity to meet and compete with professional golfers in Topgolf. These events will take place at a Topgolf location in Las Vegas on October 10 and in Miami on October 12.

Even if you cannot make it to either of these cities, eligible cardmembers can also earn a statement credit for purchases made at Topgolf locations nationwide (terms apply).

Hypebeast and Amex Art of Travel Collection

American Express is releasing a collection of travel must-haves and luggage decals in partnership with Hypebeast and artist James Jarvis.

Both cardmembers and Member Weekly Pass Holders can shop the collection on Hypebeast’s website beginning October 10.

The second half of Member Week is full of exclusive limited-time Amex offers for cardholders. This year, the perks can be seen across all your common spending categories, including dining, travel and more.

Dining Offers

With enrollment, eligible cardmembers can get a $25 statement credit when they spend a minimum of $75 at over 200 participating Resy restaurants. The offer can be used up to two times, and must be redeemed by December 8, 2023.

Travel Offers

Cardholders of a Delta SkyMiles American Express credit card can earn travel credits when making an eligible international flight purchase through Delta’s website.

All other American Express cardmembers will get access to special offers on select airlines, including Delta, Lufthansa and Qatar Airways, and on 17 cruise lines, including Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line and Silversea.

The travel offers extend to hotels, too: Eligible cardmembers can earn an $80 statement credit at select Hilton properties when they book directly through Hilton’s website and spend $200 or more (card exclusions apply).

Amex Presales

Member Week is also an ideal time for cardmembers to snag presale tickets to hot, upcoming events.

• Coachella: During Member Week, cardmembers will have access to purchase 2024 Coachella passes, as well as the exclusive Desert Summer Tote.
• LCD Soundsystem’s NYC Residency: Cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets on October 10 and 11 for the band’s performances at Terminal 5, Brooklyn Steel and Knockdown Center. During their residency, each of the venues will host an Amex cardmember exclusive show.
• 2024 U.S. Open Golf Championship: From October 9 through October 22, cardmembers will have presale access to purchase tickets to the U.S. Open at Pinehurst Resort and Country Club.

Retail and Business Offers

During Member Week, cardmembers of both personal and business cards can expect to receive curated Amex offers from Amex’s retail and business partners. To take advantage of all of the targeted offers sent your way, make sure to download the Member Week Pass and periodically check your Amex app throughout the week.

Any cardholder of a U.S. American Express personal, business or corporate card is allowed to participate in Member Week. Simply put, if you hold an Amex card, you will be able to take full advantage of the special events and limited-time offers made available during the five-day period.

A new addition to Member Week this year is something called the Member Week Pass. If you are a current cardmember, the pass will allow you to stay on top of relevant limited experiences and perks. This pass is also available to you if you are a non-cardholder, and can help guide you towards how you can participate in the special experiences you may live near.
