If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member and hold a Bonvoy co-branded credit card, you can get a head start on your travel plans for summer 2024 by spending a little extra cash this summer. Marriott Bonvoy is launching “It’s in the Cards,” a U.S. co-branding summer promotion for current card members who can earn 10,000 bonus points.

Between July 27, 2023 and August 10, 2023, eligible U.S. Bonvoy credit cardholders who enroll their card can earn 10,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points after spending $7,000 on their enrolled card by September 30, 2023. The promotion is open to cardholders of 12 Marriott Bonvoy co-branded credit cards from American Express and Chase. To register your card or cards, visit this Marriott Bonvoy link, select your card and follow the prompts to log into your account and activate the promotion like Amex Offers or Chase Offers.

Eligible American Express Marriott Bonvoy Cards

American Express Bonvoy cardholders are limited to one enrolled card. Members can register for the promotion like other Amex Offers with any of these co-branded cards by August 10, 2023, and make U.S.-based purchases of at least $7,000 to earn the 10,000 bonus points:

Amex Bonvoy co-branded cardholders are limited to earning 10,000 bonus points, which will be credited to your active Bonvoy account within 90 days after September 30, 2023, assuming all purchases are valid and not returned or canceled.

Eligible Chase Marriott Bonvoy Cards

Holders of the following Chase co-branded Bonvoy cards issued before June 21, 2023 can register any or all of their cards by August 10, 2023, and earn the 10,000 bonus Bonvoy points on each one, as long as the accounts are in good standing. Register through your Chase Offers:

Purchases on Chase Bonvoy co-branded cards must be posted to the cardholder’s account by the last day of the promotional period—September 30, 2023—to qualify. The bonus points you earn will appear in your Bonvoy account eight to 12 weeks after hitting the $7,000 spending threshold, assuming no cancellations or returns.

Bottom Line

Eligible Marriott Bonvoy cardholders can earn up to 10,000 bonus Bonvoy points after spending $7,000 on your enrolled card. Both American Express and Chase co-branded Bonvoy cards are eligible for this promotion. If 2024 summer travel is “in the cards” for you, banking an extra 10,000 points this summer is an excellent way to start.
