How To Combine Chase Ultimate Rewards Points

Chase allows cardholders to combine points earned across all Ultimate Rewards credit cards, including cards owned by one other household member or company owner.

For cards that you have personally, combining points is relatively simple. Log in to your online account and select one of your Ultimate Rewards cards. Navigate to redeem your rewards and select “Combine Points” from the drop-down menu at the top. You can then decide which cards you want to transfer from and to, as well as how many points you want to move.

If you want to combine points with another person in your household, you’ll need to call the number on the back of your card and link your accounts. Once the process is complete, their card will show up alongside yours in your Ultimate Rewards account for transfers.

Keep in mind that if you have both a personal and business Chase account, you may need to link them first to make transfers. Here’s how you can link your personal credit cards to your business login:

  1. Navigate to “Profile & settings”
  2. Select “Manage linked accounts”
  3. Choose “Show my accounts”
  4. Select “Link relationship”

Bottom Line

While the Ink Business Preferred is a standout business card on its own, pairing it with one or more other Ultimate Rewards credit cards could help you glean even more value. Before pairing cards, carefully consider how any additional rewards or features would match up with your spending habits and goals. Also, be sure to consider annual fees that could eat into the value you gain from each card.
