An additional payment may apply if Trupanion paid a claim for your wellness plan within the first 30 days of enrollment. If what you’ve paid Trupanion during your current term for your wellness plan exceeds what Trupanion paid you in claims, Trupanion will refund a prorated portion of your monthly costs. If the amount Trupanion paid you in claims exceeds the amount you’ve paid to Trupanion for your wellness plan, you will need to pay Trupanion the difference, not to exceed the 12 months worth of your monthly costs.
